About ABS

ABS Community Research is an interdisciplinary nonprofit 501c3 organization founded in 2001 to advance partnerships between health and human services, education, labor, and community justice.

Research and development addresses interdisciplinary partnerships, comparable approaches in mental health, criminology and community justice strategies, plus administrative protocols in finance, policy, information technology, and general operations.

ABS also has an Arts & Culture initiative in support of awareness development, education and diplomacy.

Immediately after the tragic 9/11 terrorist attacks, ABS adopted long-term strategic plan to address these issues both on U.S. domestic and international levels. ABS has engaged in research, advocacy, and program development support in a wide range of areas:

  • US and international nonprofit finance and economics 
  • Advocacy for US Veterans 
  • Humanitarian programs and risk mitigation in Africa, Middle East, Latin America and Caribbean
  • Diagnostics and policy in community justice
